Returns & Exchanges:
Because of the nature of custom invitations, once designing has begun no refunds or exchanges are available. If you’d like to cancel after designing has begun, your 50% deposit is non-refundable but the remaining 50% payment will be waived.
No returns or exchanges on printed pieces due to color differentiation from screen to physical product. I have no way of knowing how your screen is calibrated or if the colors are showing up accurately. Likewise, all printers tend to vary slightly and there is no guarantee the colors will be an exact match of how it looks on your proofs.
I do my best to proofread and catch misspellings and errors, but once you provide final approval and the invite is sent to the printer or I've delivered final files, I am not held responsible for any such mistakes. It is your responsibility to thoroughly review each proof and catch any mistakes whether the error was yours or my own.
Three revision rounds are included with custom invite listings. So make sure you really look over that first proof and provide all changes and edits at the same time. If you need additional Revision Rounds, they will be added to your remaining invoice. Price is dependent on the extent of the changes and how many pieces.
I suggest printing out your proofs “At Actual Size” to get a sense of the type size, layout, etc. You’d be surprised how much more you’ll catch with a physical print vs on screen!
Timing & Turnaround:
The 4-6 week turnaround time listed on my site is the typical or average turnaround time for orders. If you fail to provide your information, wording, and/or addresses in a timely matter, or review your proofs and provide edits within a reasonable amount of time, this will of course delay the timeline.
Once you’ve paid your deposit and provided all information for all pieces ordered, I will have a first proof typically within 3-5 business days. I try to provide additional proofs within 2 business days of being sent edits. Once the invites have been full approved and sent to the printer, this is the time to make sure your address list is finalized and sent over to me.
Shipping & Delays:
I am not held responsible in shipping delays due to weather or other issues that are the fault of the shipping carrier. I always provide tracking with my shipped packages and will do my best to work with you and the carrier in the unfortunate event of a lost or delayed package. I am not held financially responsible for any such instances but will do my best to make it right and reprint if necessary.
